I’ve always believed that movement is the foundation of everything...
How We Breathe, How We Perform, How We live.Â
I’m Dr. Shlomo Swinkin,
Doctor of Physical Therapy, and for over 20 years, I’ve helped people recover from injury, overcome physical limitations, and unlock their bodies’ full potential. But my story isn’t just clinical—it’s deeply personal. Â
Â
Alongside my career in orthopedics and sports rehab, I’ve always had a passion for singing and performance. And I’ve felt the same frustrations many performers face: vocal fatigue, tightness in the throat, inconsistent breath control, and that elusive feeling of almost breaking through. Â

The deeper I dove into my craft as a physical therapist and a vocalist, the more I realized—the voice doesn’t start in the throat. It starts in the spine, in the breath, in the body.
Â
Years of cycling, endurance sports, and treating complex spinal cases showed me the same patterns again and again:Â Â
- Poor posture leading to compressed lungs Â
- Tight hips limiting breath flow Â
- Weak core muscles undercutting stamina and tone Â
Â
And so, The Swinkin Method was born—not just from textbooks, but from experience, frustration, and discovery. It’s a system built to unlock the spine, restore the breath, and empower the voice—from the inside out.
Â
This isn’t just about exercises. It’s about alignment, awareness, and giving your voice the structure it needs to thrive. My goal is to help singers, athletes, and performers find power, freedom, and confidence in their bodies—so they can do what they love at the highest level.
Â
This is my story. And I’m here to help you write yours—with strength, breath, and purpose.
